What we stand for

A trade platform, not a newsroom

We are open about where our content comes from — and about where the line between editorial and commercial runs.

Independent selection

We choose what gets published; suppliers don't.

Built for practitioners

Case studies and specifications, not marketing copy.

Global reach, one industry

90+ countries, ten markets, ten technology zones.

How we work

Our editorial policy, in six points

Where our content comes from, what we check before we publish, and what advertising does and does not buy.

Where our content comes from

Most of what you read on Fluid Handling Pro starts with the industry itself: product news, case studies and technical articles submitted by manufacturers, suppliers and engineering firms. Our editors select what gets published, rewrite and edit it for clarity, and place it in the right market and technology context. We are a trade platform, not a newsroom — and we think you should know which is which.

What we check before we publish

Every submission is reviewed by a named editor. We check that the source company is identifiable, that technical claims are specific rather than promotional, and that the subject is genuinely relevant to one of our markets or technology zones. We shorten, retitle and rewrite where needed. We do not publish everything we receive.

Editorial and commercial are separated

Advertising, directory memberships and banner campaigns give companies visibility — never influence over editorial judgement, ranking in our news selection, or the wording of an article about a competitor. Paid and promoted placements are labelled as such. If a company pays for a publication slot as part of a membership, the resulting article still goes through the same editorial review.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to support translation, editing and summarising. Nothing is published on Fluid Handling Pro without a human editor reading and approving it. Technical claims are always traced back to the source company, not generated.

Our experts

Answers in Ask the Expert come from named specialists who work at named companies. That affiliation is always shown, so you can weigh the advice accordingly. Experts answer in their own words; we do not edit their technical conclusions.

Corrections

Found an error? Email info@fluidhandlingpro.com and we will check it. If we got something wrong, we correct the article and note what changed.
